I’m from Chennai, India where I did my undergrad in Physics at Madras Christian College. I moved to IISER Pune for my MSc and PhD working on low frequency astronomy with the GMRT.

I then spent time as a postdoc at the Institute for Data Intensive Astronomy (IDIA) in Cape Town, South Africa followed by a joint postdoc with IDIA and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) in Socorro, New Mexico.

These days I’m an Assistant Scientist at the NRAO, working with the CASA and RADPS teams primarily on imaging-related problems. I also dabble with various other bits of radio astronomy software.

Sometimes I also music.
